Known as “The Fashionista” Figueroa is also the star of the red carpet and Univision’s most prestigious awards, such as the Latin GRAMMY®, “Premio Lo Nuestro®” and “Premios Juventud”, among others. This fashion guru, with their expert reviews, is often considered the most awaited part of the red carpet. His interviews with stars and famous designers have made him a great success in both the United States and Latin America. Figueroa’s credibility, coupled with its unique charm and sense of humor, has captured a loyal audience following each of its steps waiting for their next pronouncements about what should and should not do in a matter of fashion.

Always edgy Rodner Figueroa also leads the successful digital show EL FASHIONOMETRO, where with his team, discusses the past successes and failures (in fashion) of celebrities. This popular web show has bacome a reference for anyone who has passion for fashion.

Figueroa’s love for fashion was born to a very early age in his hometown of Caracas, Venezuela, where his mother took him to many fashion shows. In college he studied journalism and art and modern design, which created the perfect balance between communication and fashion.

His expertise in the world of fashion has expanded his extensive travels around the world and friendship with Latin, European and American designers. His style is contemporary and modern, but always classic, which has earned him the distinction of appearing among the best-dressed men of the time in magazines like People en Español.

Since the begining as a regular host in “El Gordo y la Flaca”, Rodner Figueroa has become the fashion advicer of many superstars and ordinary people. Figueroa attends regularly to perform “makeovers” and give fashion tips in the world longest air TV variety show “Sabado Gigante”. His great knowlegs in the field, has led him to have apparitions on other programs as “Nuestra Belleza Latina”, “Mira Quien Baila” and “Despierta America”.

Thanks of his credibility and his lifestyle, many companies have chosen Figueroa to promote their brands. Some of these companies are: Colgate, Target, Johnny Walker Black Label, Neutrogena, Procter and Gamble, Wrigley and Kohl’s.

As a believer in the potential to be the Hispanic community, Figueroa donates his time to causes like: St Jude, BeLive, Aid for Aid Foundation, Salvadorian American Humanitarian Foundation and Friends of Children with Cancer to raise funds for sick children and few resources in Latin America. He is also Vice president of the board of the International Youth Circle Museo del Barrio in New York.
